Clopton Church PCC is committed to ensuring all who are involved in the Church are safe and as such has adopted the House of Bishops’ ‘Promoting a Safer Church; safeguarding policy statement’. Click on the blue link to view the statement.
The Church bases its policy on six commitments:
ï‚· Promoting a Safer environment and culture
ï‚· Safely recruiting and supporting all those with any responsibility related to children, young people and vulnerable adults within the Church
ï‚· Responding promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation
ï‚· Caring pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse and other affected persons
ï‚· Caring pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns or allegations of abuse and other affected persons
ï‚· Responding to those that may pose a present risk to others.
